FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does Stork Player provide channels or content?
No. Stork Player is a player and nothing else: it provides no channel, no film, no series and no playlist.
You must use your own legally authorized content sources — an M3U playlist or Xtream Codes access — which the app does nothing but play.
Where do I find my device's ID and key?
In the app, under Settings → Device. The ID starts with STK- and is 8 characters long; the key is 6 digits, shown as 123 456. The space is only a reading aid: with it or without it, it is the same key.
You can type them in upper or lower case, with or without the space: the site takes them either way.
If you have lost the key, find it again in the app, under Settings → Device. Your key belongs to your device and does not change, even after a reinstall. Do not share it with anyone. If you think someone else has seen it, contact support.
Do I need an account?
No. A device's ID and key are enough to manage its playlists and activate it, from “Manage Playlist” and “Activation”.
An account with an email address is still available, as an option: it lets you manage several devices in one place.
How do I add a playlist?
On “Manage Playlist”, identify your device with its ID and key, then choose “Add a playlist”. Enter the address of your M3U playlist, or the server, username and password of your Xtream access.
Then click “Use on the device” and, on your television, press “Refresh list”.
If the M3U address is a “get.php” link carrying a username and a password, the site offers to create it directly as Xtream: the format the app plays best.
Can I edit a playlist?
Yes: the name, the M3U address, or the Xtream server, username and password. Fill in only what you want to change — a field left empty stays as it is, the password included.
The type (Xtream or M3U) cannot be changed: to switch, delete the playlist and create it again. After a change, press “Refresh list” on your television.
Why this message: “Sign-in not found”?
This message appears in every case where signing in does not succeed: an ID that does not exist, an incorrect key, or too many failed attempts from the same address. The site deliberately does not say which of the two is wrong — that would tell you nothing useful, and tell a great deal to someone trying to guess.
Check the ID and the key in the app, under Settings → Device. After several failed attempts, wait about fifteen minutes before trying again. Your key does not change: if in doubt, read it again in the app.
How does the free trial work?
Every device has a 7-day trial, counted by our servers (never by the device's own clock). The status is visible in the app and on “Manage Playlist”.
How much does activation cost?
€5.99 for one year of activation, for one device. It is a one-time payment: there is no automatic renewal, and you can extend the activation before it ends. Payment is handled by Stripe: no card data passes through this site.
Are my credentials safe?
They are encrypted at rest on the server and travel over HTTPS only. They are never stored in clear text, never logged, and never shown again once saved — not even to you: that is why editing a playlist only offers to replace a value, never to read it back.
